Rose Tyler

She’s just such a BAMF. She is such a compassionate character, something rare on television (and real life). I adored the love story between her and The Doctor, and it’s something I miss dearly on the show. I also liked how she was an average girl, seemingly ordinary, but with the potential to be amazing.

Donna Noble

How can you not love Miss (DO I LOOK SINGLE?) Donna Noble!? She was definitely the funniest companion the Doctor’s ever had, and she was a great best friend to him. Her story was beautiful and tragic (but often hilarious), and I loved every moment of it.

Captain Jack

Captain Jack… How do I begin to explain Captain Jack? Captain Jack is flawless. I hear his ass is insured for $10,000. I hear he does Vortex Manipulator commercials… in New New York. His favorite movie is Brokeback Mountain. One time he met The Doctor in the TARDIS… and he kissed him. One time he punched a Dalek in its optical lens… it asked him out to dinner.

I wish I had a grandfather like him. Enough said, really.

Rory Pond
