This a blog dedicated to all things New Who. It is not a personal blog. It is run by professional Whovian Rebecca. It consists mainly of photos, videos, and quotes, however there are often articles as well. Every week a Doctor Who trivia contest is thrown, the reward being a promotion of the winners blog on this blog and a donation to the winners charity of choice. Equal attention is given to both RTD-Who and Moffat-Who. Enjoy!
Heck Ya Doctor Who

Check out this awesome shop, it has Doctor Who bow ties amongst other cool stuff! http://www.etsy.com/shop/GeekyGamerShop?ref=seller_info

Omg about the torch, I really, really, really hope it’s Mr. Tennant instead of Matt, because of canon, but honestly, I’ll be happy no matter what!!!

Ok, so I’m plugging this store called Quirkie Craft (http://www.etsy.com/shop/QuirkieCraft). It has the CUTEST stuff. Emma Houle, who runs the shop, makes these patchwork bags and other whimsical items. The patchwork bags have awesome themes like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Doctor Who. I just bought the bag above, but there are 3 more Doctor Who themed bags available right now, as well as some other bags. The stuff is pretty pricey, but take into account how they are each hand embroidered and stitched. So if you have any desire to blow a little cash or get someone a graduation present or something, check the store out :)

It’s April 18th in some parts of the world already!

I’m going to assume this is a well meaning question and not a snarky one at all and hence will answer it accordingly. But I applaud you on your math skills!

Believe it or not, I have seen a lot of the older episodes, especially Tom Baker and Peter Davidson, who are my favorite old!WHO Doctors. However, I enjoy the new!WHO episodes much more than the older ones, most likely because, as a young person, I sometimes have   a difficult time getting past the corny sci-fi effects and language (and that is saying something because especially RTD’s WHO could be pretty corny/bad SFX. Boy, do I miss it sometimes).

That being said, I personally believe that people can consider themselves any level of Whovian-ness (be that casual, intense, three-some, monogamous— wait sorry now I’m talking about sex, my mistake) despite what they have watched. For example, my cousins and one of my best friends have only seen the 11th Doctor’s seasons, but they are such enthusiastic fans of what they have seen that I would consider them hardcore Whovians. Hell, they have Doctor Who teeshirts and gave me a TARDIS-in-a-bottle that they hand-made themselves for Christmas! Some would argue that new!WHO is so different from the older episodes that you can consider it a completely different show all together. Heck, you can even use that logic for when Tennant left the show! Moffat has changed a bunch of stuff, including some canon.

But that’s what’s so wonderful about Doctor Who! People can come in and out as they please, jump into different episodes, and skip a few if they’d like. It has different aspects that appeal to people of all ages and preferences. So yes, I consider myself much more than a casual Whovian, and I invite all of my followers, even those who have only watched a single episode, to decide how big a Whovian they are based on how strongly they feel about Doctor Who, not the sheer quantity of time they have spent in front of their television screen.

Hey guys, I have a quick question that you may or may not consider to include minor spoilers below the cut.

Remember, Whovians, today is April Fools Day, beware any “news”, “spoilers”, and “rumors” you hear of today on the internet. And in real life, if you hang out with those sort of people.

I know it’s a bit early, but message me with your favorite/dream ideas about who Jenna will play!

Where do you think/wish she will be found? What kind of character do you think she’ll play? You don’t have to be serious, this is all just fun!

Notice

Hello everyone!

I will be leaving tomorrow morning to Washington D.C. for a class trip. I will be gone until next Friday. I set up an extensive queue, so there should still be regular posting. Enjoy your weekend and week!

This is a real thing that happened

  • Me: *takes out my phone with a TARDIS cover*
  • Girl from my class: Is that the TARDIS?
  • Me: Yes! Oh my gosh, do you watch Doctor Who too?
  • Girl: Oh, no, but I have a Tumblr so I've heard of it. From what I've seen, it seems like a really dirty, pornographic show. Lots of sexual stuff right?
